The Garthwaite Masonic Memorial Hall hosted a round of the Provincial Quiz Night on Friday 26 February.
We had 15 teams from 9 different lodges including the
South Lincs. Ladies whose membership is made up of Masons wives, partners etc.
Their were a total of 62 people attended including those who ran and assisted
in running the evenings event. A successful raffle was held where funds in
excess of £140.00 was raised which will go towards masonic charities.
The winning team came from the Alexandra Lodge 985 from Long Sutton, 2nd place was St Pega Lodge 8317 from Deeping St James and in 3rd place Saint Mary 7898 from Long Sutton.
We all enjoyed a sausage and mash supper during the interval, half way through the evening. Every one who attended had a good social evening and went away intellectually fulfilled, well fed and happy.
